Terms & Conditions

Clear, plain-English terms covering our websites, monthly plans and hosting. Please read them before paying a deposit or starting a subscription.

The key points

✓One-off websites: a 50% deposit to begin, with the balance due before your website goes live. Once paid in full, the website is yours.
✓Every one-off package includes the first year of hosting. After that, you can choose Monthly Maintenance (£95 a month, hosting included) or move to a provider of your choice.
✓Pay Monthly: £99 to start, then £69 a month, with a minimum term of 12 months. After that, you may cancel at any time with 30 days' notice.
✓If you cancel before work begins, your deposit is refunded in full. Once work has started, the deposit is non-refundable.
✓Anything we have built that does not work as intended within 14 days of launch is fixed free of charge.

These terms apply when you pay a deposit, start a Pay Monthly, Monthly Maintenance or Social subscription, or accept a quote from us. Please read them before you pay.
Our services are designed for businesses. If you are buying as a consumer rather than a business, you also have legal rights that these terms don't take away, including the right to cancel within 14 days (see section 10).

We offer five one-off packages: Get Online (£695, up to 3 pages), Get Found (£995, up to 5 pages), Get Booked (£1,495, up to 8 pages), Online Shop (£1,795, up to 25 products) and Bespoke (£2,495, up to 12 pages). What each one includes is shown on our pricing page, or in your written quote if we've agreed something different.
Anything outside your package, such as extra pages, extra revision rounds or new features, will be quoted and agreed with you before we do it. We will never add a charge without asking you first.

A 50% deposit books your project and secures your place in our schedule.
The remaining 50% is due once you've approved the finished website and before it goes live on your domain.
Payments are taken securely through Stripe. Prices are as shown at the time you book.

Pay Monthly costs £99 to start, then £69 a month, taken automatically by card or Direct Debit through Stripe. It includes a website of up to 5 pages, hosting, SSL, renewal of a standard domain, and one small update each month (for example, changing text, photos or prices). Unused updates don't roll over.
There is a minimum term of 12 months from your first payment. If you cancel during the first 12 months, the remaining monthly payments for the minimum term are still due.
After 12 months, your plan continues month to month and you can cancel at any time by giving 30 days' notice by email.
Your website stays live for as long as your subscription is active. We own the website and license it to you while you subscribe. After the minimum term, you can ask to buy the website outright for a one-off fee that we'll agree with you.
If a payment fails, Stripe will try again and email you. If a payment is still unpaid after 14 days, we may pause your website until it's paid. It will be switched back on as soon as your account is up to date.
Where possible, your domain is registered in your business name. If you leave, we'll help you move it to you once all payments are up to date.

Every one-off package includes your first year of hosting. We'll remind you before the year ends.
From year two, you can choose Monthly Maintenance (£95 a month: hosting, SSL, renewal of a standard domain, security updates, backups, content, text and photo updates and priority support), our Shop Maintenance plan for online shops (£145 a month: everything in Monthly Maintenance, plus up to 10 product changes a month, seasonal banners and offers, and monthly checkout checks), or our Social plan (£249 a month: everything in Monthly Maintenance, plus 12 social media posts a month, including 4 short videos, with captions, posted for you on Instagram and Facebook). Bigger changes, like new pages or features, are quoted first.
These plans run month to month. You can cancel at any time by giving 30 days' notice by email.
If you'd rather use your own hosting provider, we'll help you move your website at the end of your first year.

To build your website we'll need your logo, photos, wording, business details and feedback. Timelines start once we have what we need.
Most websites are finished within 1 to 4 weeks, depending on the package and how quickly content and feedback come back to us.
If we don't hear from you for more than 30 days, we may pause your project until you're ready to continue.

Each package includes a set number of revision rounds: one for Get Online, two for Get Found, three for Get Booked and unlimited during the build for Bespoke.
A revision round is one set of changes sent together. Further rounds, or changes that go beyond your package, can be added for an agreed fee.

For one-off packages, the finished website design and content become yours once you've paid in full. We keep the rights to our own tools, templates and underlying code, which we use for other projects.
You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you send us, such as photos, logos and text. You are responsible for making sure the information on your website about your business is accurate and legal.
We may show your finished website in our portfolio and on social media. Just tell us if you'd rather we didn't.

Some features use other companies' services, such as Stripe for payments and deposits, booking systems like Timely or Google Calendar, and domain registrars. Their own terms and fees apply. For example, Stripe charges its own fees on payments your customers make to you.
We're not responsible for outages or changes made by these services, but we'll always help you sort things out.

If you cancel a one-off project before we've started work, we'll refund your deposit in full.
Once work has started, the deposit is non-refundable because it covers the time we've already spent designing your website. Completed work is not refundable.
Consumers (not businesses) have the right to cancel within 14 days of booking. If you ask us to start work within those 14 days and then cancel, you'll pay for the work done up to that point.

If anything we built doesn't work properly within 14 days of launch, we'll fix it free of charge.
This doesn't cover problems caused by changes made by someone else, or by third-party services.

We build every website with reasonable care and skill.
We're not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost business, or for downtime caused by hosting providers or other third parties.
Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you book or subscribe is the one that applies to you, and we'll tell existing monthly customers about any important changes.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
